Rescuing Nakiia
Nakiia was rescued from another facility in July of 2000, at 4 weeks of age. Also rescued was another Florida Panther, Thore and Sinea, an African Leopard cub.
After numerous visits to Vets and adding high doses of Osteo-Form to their food...
...and stronger each day.
Little did we know at the time just how unheathly they were. The former facilty did not feed their mothers properly, so the cubs were sick.
Unfortunatly, they had to be neutered so as not to pass on bad genetics.
...the cubs got better...
Nakiia is now a healthy 16 years old Panther and a member of my family.
He is my heart and the love of my life.
